MG to start producing the first electric vehicle in Pakistani Factories

The Government of Pakistan wishes to modernize and reduce carbon emissions by bringing Electric Cars on the streets of Pakistan, and it looks like British Company Morris Garages(MG) is ready to make a huge leap in the market

Javed Afridi, a man closely affiliated with MG pakistan told the Arab news company Khaleej Times that the Company will soon start local production of an Electric Vehicle. The model of the car is the MG ZS EV. A CBU petrol version of this is available for people to buy, but this new model will be assembled locally and will be fully electric.

The company has already teased a factory in Lahore, and many more will be built in Lahore and Karachi.

In terms of specification, the car is completely identical to its petrol counterpart, The MG ZS.

Javed Afridi also stated that the company will also bring the MG HS electrical counterpart to the market as well
